Description

The City of Richmond (City) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from

qualified professional engineering firms to provide construction management,

contract administration, construction inspection, materials sampling and testing,

labor compliance, and project closeout services on an on-call basis for one or more

federal-aid transportation projects (each, a Project). Each Project will be funded in

part with federal-aid funds administered by the California Department of

Transportation (Caltrans) Division of Local Assistance. Because each resulting

agreement will contain federal funds, this procurement and each resulting

agreement must comply with Chapter 10, “Consultant Selection,” of the Caltrans

Local Assistance Procedures Manual (LAPM), 23 CFR Part 172, 2 CFR Part 200,

49 CFR Part 26, and California Government Code Sections 4525–4529.5. The City

intends to establish a pool of qualified consultants and to award a separate on-call

agreement to each selected firm. The City anticipates selecting up to three (3) firms

for the pool. In this RFQ, “Consultant” means each firm selected for the pool, and

“respondent” means each firm submitting an SOQ.

Contact Ofelia Alvarez for assistance in downloading RFP

ofelia_alvarez@ci.richmond.ca.us
