Electronically submitted bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines, City Clerk’s office at wdm.ionwave.net until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, for the following described public improvement: 2026 SEWER CLEANING & TELEVISING PROGRAM WEST DES MOINES, IOWA Project No. 0510-008-2026 At the above time, all bids received by the City will be electronically unsealed and made public at wdm.ionwave.net, with the results being reported to the West Des Moines City Council at their meeting on, Monday, November 2, 2026, at 5:35 p.m., at which time the Council may take action on the proposals submitted or at such time as may then be fixed. The City Council of West Des Moines, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Costs for the construction of said improvements at 5:35 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2026, in the Council Chambers, 4200 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: Type A Cleaning and Televising of approximately 14,972 linear feet of six-inch (6”) through forty-two-inch (42”) diameter sanitary sewer; televising of approximately 645 linear feet of six-inch (6”) through ten-inch (10”) diameter sanitary sewer; Type C Root Removal of approximately 700 linear feet of twelve-inch (12”) through twenty-four-inch (24”) diameter sanitary sewer; Cutting of any Protruding Taps; and other miscellaneous associated work.
