Electronically submitted bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines City Clerk’s Office at wdm.ionwave.net, until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, for the following described public improvement: 2026 SEWER PIPE REHABILITATION PROGRAM WEST DES MOINES, IOWA Project No. 0510-007-2026 At the above time, all bids received by the City will be electronically unsealed and made public at wdm.ionwave.net with the results being reported to the West Des Moines City Council at their meeting on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 5:35 p.m., at which time the Council may take action on the proposals submitted or at such time as may then be fixed. The City Council of West Des Moines, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Costs for the construction of said improvements at 5:35 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2026, in the Council Chambers, 4200 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining of approximately 9,898 linear feet of eight-inch (8”) through fifteen-inch (15") diameter sanitary sewer; 96 service reinstatements; traffic control, bypass pumping, and other miscellaneous associated work. The kinds of materials, estimated quantities and work to be done for the project on which bids will be received are as shown on the bid proposal for said project. All work is to be done in strict compliance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by AECOM which have been heretofore approved by the City Council and which are now on file for public examination in the office of the City Clerk.
