Description

It is the intent of the City of North Port to secure the services of an experienced and qualified firm to provide a custom fireworks display for the City’s Annual Fourth of July Freedom Festival. The primary option for the display is to be 15 minutes in duration, with an alternate option of a 20-minute display. The display will take place on July 4, 2027 at approximately 9:00 p.m. at Cool Today Park, 18800 W. Villages Pkwy., Venice, FL 34293. However, the City reserves the right to modify the display location with thirty (30) days’ notice to the Contractor. The scope of work is a general guide to the work the City expects to be performed by the Contractor and may not be a complete listing of all services that may be required or desired. This work includes the procurement, delivery, set-up, and disposal of fireworks and all related materials and equipment, and obtaining all permits related to fireworks. Services provided must conform to all applicable State, Federal, and Local laws and administrative rules and regulations. Fireworks Display: a) All fireworks shall be performed according to the National Fire Protection Association Code for the Outdoor Display of Fireworks, NFPA Standard 1123. b) The Fireworks Display will consist of no less than 15 minutes continuous aerial fireworks display starting at approximately 9:00 PM. Contractors may alternatively propose a 20-minute display, subject to City approval. c) The contractor will provide a written pictorial description of the proposed firework display to the City. The show should be divided into five segments including: i. Opening ii. Body iii. Fake Finale iv. Pre-Finale v.
