Electronically submitted bids will be received by the City of West Des Moines City Clerk’s Office at wdm.ionwave.net until 2:00 p.m., local time on Wednesday November 18, 2026 for the following described public improvement: PUBLIC SAFETY STATION 17 STRUCTURAL REPAIRS WEST DES MOINES, IOWA PROJECT NO. 0510-066-2024 At the above time all bids received by the City will be electronically unsealed and made public at wdm.ionwave.net with the results being reported to the West Des Moines City Council at their meeting on Monday December 7, 2026 at 5:35 p.m. at which time the Council may take action on the proposals submitted or at such time as may then be fixed. The City Council of West Des Moines, Iowa, will hold a public hearing on the proposed Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract, and Estimate of Costs for the construction of said improvements at 5:35 p.m. on Monday December 7, 2026 in the Council Chambers, 4200 Mills Civic Parkway, West Des Moines. At said hearing, any interested person may appear and file objections thereto or to the cost of the improvements. The extent of work on this project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials for the construction of improvements generally described as follows: Installation of helical piles along the South building façade at the Public Safety Station 17 located at 1401 Railroad Avenue, West Des Moines. The kinds of materials, estimated quantities, and work to be done for the project on which bids will be received are as shown on the bid proposal for said project. All work is to be done in strict compliance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by City of West Des Moines Engineering Services which are now on file for public examination in the office of the City Clerk. All bids shall be made on the form furnished by the City through wdm.ionwave.net and shall be filed on or before the time specified above.
