Description

Notice of Request for Bid Project Description: The Public Improvement, upon which bids are requested, generally consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials for the short-term shutdown of the ice plant system, the disconnection and removal of the existing evaporative condenser cooling tower unit, the installation of a new cooling tower, including the restart up and calibration of the ice plant system. The Engineer’s opinion of probable cost is $225,000. The location of the project is ImOn Ice Arena at 1800 Admiral Sheehy Drive, Dubuque, IA 52001 There will be no pre-bid conference for this project.  The contractor may schedule an on-site visit upon request.   The start date is 10 days upon notice to proceed.   Final completion is March 15, 2027.
