Government contracts for roofing in Minnesota

Roofing contracts in Minnesota typically cover open roofing bids for TPO and EPDM membrane replacement, standing-seam metal re-roofs, hail-damage repair, leak investigations, and warranty-period roof maintenance. Federal posts in this category fall under NAICS 238160 (Roofing Contractors), and the bulk of the work flows to DoD installations, the U.S. Postal Service, and VA hospitals. Re-roof projects under $4M frequently set aside for small business, with bonding requirements that favor regional roofers over national chains.

As of October 20, 2026, Minnesota has 1 open roofing contract in our database, with 1 added in the last 30 days. Volume in smaller markets is lumpy: a single base or facility can drive a quarter of annual postings. The most active buyer is Federal Subcontract (1 open posts), but contracts also come from federal civilian agencies and state-level departments operating in Minnesota.

Beyond federal opportunities, much of the roofing work in Minnesota is posted through SWIFT / MN Bid Solicitation, with recurring buyers including MnDOT and the University of Minnesota. Minnesota's Targeted Group Business (TGB), Veteran-Owned (VO), and Economically Disadvantaged (ED) programs allocate dedicated spend to certified firms. ContractRadar pulls federal postings from SAM.gov alongside state and local feeds so a roofing contractor doesn't have to monitor each portal manually.
