<p>The City of Pomona ("City") is seeking proposals ("Proposals") from qualified engineering firms ("Proposers") for professional services to perform the following: Provide Design Services for the Reservoir No. 2C Repairs and Safety Improvements (Project). The successful firm shall demonstrate proven project management and technical expertise servicing municipal water resources infrastructure. <br></p> <p>This Project includes repairs and safety improvements to the 2.93-million gallon cylindrical steel tank at Reservoir No. 2C. The tank has experienced significant corrosion-related deterioration at multiple locations, necessitating targeted repairs and upgrades. Work includes identifying and excising all corroded sections of steel, welding new replacement sections, and relining and recoating the affected areas. A new cathodic protection system will be installed to mitigate future corrosion and extend the life of the coating. This project also incorporates the installation of safety railings, stairs, ladders, and other safety improvements.</p>
