Description
San Benito County Behavioral Health (Hereinafter referred to as County) is soliciting proposal from qualified organizations (hereinafter referred to as Provider) to meet the mental health needs of Medi-Cal eligible individuals who require more intensive services than the standard outpatient care through the provision of Day Treatment and Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) Services. DTI Services should focus on preventing hospitalization and supporting recovery in a community setting through the use of half- or full-day DTI services. Provider must meet the minimum qualifications and requirements as set forth within the RFP and be capable of providing services identified in the scope of work. Day Treatment and Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) is a structured multi-disciplinary program of therapy as an alternative to hospitalization or to maintain community placement. These services are designed for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient therapy, but who do not need to stay in a psychiatric hospital full-time. . San Benito County has a population of approximate 67,000 residents, inclusive of two incorporated cities, the City of Hollister, and the City of San Juan Bautista. The County is located 30 minutes of Monterey Bay and 45 minutes south of San Jose, and is a General Law County that operates under a County Board of Supervisors, a County Administrative Officer, and elected and appointed Department Heads.
