Description
The County of San Benito HHSA is requesting proposals from qualified community-based organizations to provide coordinated, trauma-informed services for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC). The selected Contractor will deliver prevention, intervention, case management, crisis response, and community education services aligned with State and local CSEC program requirements. The initial contract term is anticipated to begin January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, with possible extensions based on performance, funding availability, and service need. The County reserves the right to make one or multiple awards, or no award, if determined to be in the County's best interest. The total funding available for this program is $134,189 annually (or $402,567 total for the contract term). The County reserves the right to negotiate the final scope of services and contract amount with the selected proposer. Funding is contingent upon State allocation and County approval. San Benito County is a rural Central Coast County with a population of approximately 64,000 residents. The County includes the City of Hollister, San Juan Bautista, and surrounding unincorporated communities. The County is committed to addressing human trafficking and the commercial sexual exploitation of children through a coordinated, multidisciplinary response that includes child welfare, behavioral health, law enforcement, education, and community-based partners. CSEC SERVICES ARE INTENDED TO: 1. Identify and support at-risk youth 2. Provide immediate crisis intervention 3. Deliver ongoing case management 4. Strengthening prevention education efforts 5.
