COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION W9127N26QA115 The Dalles Dam, Generator Thrust Bearing Refurbishment U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS, PORTLAND DISTRICT This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO FAR) part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W9127N26QA115 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), for a firm fixed price supply contract for refurbishment of one main unit thrust bearing at a time with optional increase in quantity for three additional thrust bearings. Performance Period & Schedule: The delivery period for the base item (first thrust bearing) shall not exceed nine (9) months from contract award. Each of the three (3) optional quantities, if exercised, shall have an individual delivery period not to exceed nine (9) months from the date of the respective option exercise. Sequence of Performance: Options will be exercised sequentially upon the successful completion and delivery of the preceding thrust bearing. This phased schedule is designed to accommodate the installation of the newly refurbished bearing, the subsequent removal of the next bearing, its refurbishment, and return shipping. Accelerated Delivery Encouraged: While the maximum allowable delivery period for each bearing is nine (9) months, accelerated delivery is highly encouraged to support the government�s objective of refurbishing multiple thrust bearings annually. This solicitation is advertised as a 100% small business set aside, under NAICS Code: 332991, Ball and Roller Bearing Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,250 employees. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov to be eligible for award. Lack of SAM registration will make an offeror ineligible for award.
