PUBLIC NOTICE PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR STRATEGIC PLANNING AND COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT & MARKET STUDY FOR THE WEST DES MOINES PUBLIC LIBRARY CITY OF WEST DES MOINES Electronic proposals will be received by the City of West Des Moines, Iowa on or before 2:00 p.m., local time, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, for the following: Proposal Item: Professional Strategic Planning and Community Needs Assessment Services for the West Des Moines Public Library. Firms shall submit their proposal electronically via IonWave at https://wdm.ionwave.net, named: "Request for Proposals – Strategic Plan and Community Needs Assessment for the West Des Moines Public Library." For any questions, interested firms should contact Library Director, Traci Glass, at traci.glass@wdm.iowa.gov or 515-222-3409. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals on a per-unit basis and waive irregularities and technicalities as determined to be in the best interest of said City. No formal pre-proposal conference will be conducted. Proposers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the West Des Moines Public Library, either by visiting the facility or by reviewing information available on the library and city websites, to better understand our operations, community needs, and strategic priorities.
