Invitation The City (hereinafter “City”) is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested proposers in order to establish on-call contracts for various engineering design services to support the Department of Public Works Project Administration Division. It is anticipated that contracts will be awarded for an initial five (5) year period with one (1) year renewal period at the sole discretion of the City. engineering firms with experience in one or more of the Service Categories listed below. When a future project is available the City will provide information about that project and consider the Consultants with on-call contracts awarded, to engage for that opportunity. Projects will be identified based on the Department needs and funding availability. Consultants that are awarded on-call contracts will be considered for work opportunities based upon qualifications relevant to each project. The City will request a cost proposal on a project-by-project basis. If a reasonable fee cannot be achieved with the Consultant of choice, negotiations will proceed with the other qualified On-Call Consultants until a mutual agreement is reached. See RFQL documentation for details. Attachment A includes more information on the three service categories, Structural Engineering, Landscape Architecture and Architecture.
