City of Davenport, Iowa is accepting bids from qualified vendors for the Freight House Tuckpointing project. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, all necessary labor, equipment and materials required to perform Work as indicated on the Drawings and Specifications,and as follows: Grinding and re-pointing of mortar joints throughout the facility. Removal and replacement of damaged masonry units at various locations throughout the facility. Removal, painting, and reinstallation of the existing box light fixture. Excavation and installation of new retaining wall along the north side of the outdoor concrete patio and stage, and extension of patio floor slab. Removal of existing fencing along the north and west sides of the outdoor patio,and replacement with new guardrail. Relocation of electrical equipment at northwest corner of outdoor patio and stage. Removal and reinstallation of miscellaneous existing exterior light fixtures throughout the facility. Bids must be submitted through the City of Davenport e-bidding system (https://davenport.ionwave.net); no emails, faxes, paper copies or any other submission method will be accepted. Within the system, each tab of the Invitation to Bid must be reviewed and responded to accordingly.
