Description
The Utilities Department is soliciting Invitation for Bids for the removal and disposal of two existing wastewater process valves located approximately 18 feet below grade. The work also includes the installation of one (1) 12-inch and one (1) 18-inch mechanical joint plug valve within the existing buried piping system. The 12-inch valve replacement is for the draining of Aeration Basin #2, which periodically needs to be taken out of service for cleaning and maintenance. The 18-inch process suction valve replacements are for the isolation of Clarifiers #1 & #2. MANDATORY MANDATORY ON-SITE VISIT: An on-site visit is scheduled Tuesday, November 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the City of Miramar Wastewater Reclamation Facility (WWRF”)13900 Pembroke Road Miramar, Florida 33027.
