Description
Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Bid for ITB 26-196 Southwest Regional Water Reclamation Facility (SWRWRF) - Reclaimed Water System. This project includes the construction of approximately 22,000 feet of transmission mains, a 1.0 MGD (million gallons per day) ground storage tank, a high-service pump station, a booster pump station, and other necessary appurtenances to supply reclaimed water from the SWRWRF to the Sugarmill Woods and Citrus National Golf Courses. This project includes grant funding from the State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD). The project will provide the necessary infrastructure to make reclaimed water available for beneficial reuse as irrigation water at the Sugarmill Woods and Citrus National golf courses. The use of high-quality reclaimed water will help offset groundwater withdrawals from the Homosassa and Chassahowitzka springsheds. NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference (Non-Mandatory) will be held October 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM, via Microsoft Teams.
