SYNOPSIS: INTRODUCTION: This Sources Sought Notice is for market research and information purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for the Expand 111 OR Department 2AS Phase 1 Construction project at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center located in Milwaukee, WI. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project shall provide for and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, qualified supervision, and other items designated in this contract in accordance with the specifications and drawings to complete Project# 695-501 Expand 111 OR Department 2AS Phase 1 at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 West National Avenue Milwaukee, WI. This project will renovate existing spaces inside Building 111 (2nd floor A-wing South old GI/GU clinic) and build a new addition adjacent to 2AS above the one-level Emergency Department (2BS). The addition and renovated spaces will be connected as a new four-OR suite. Ancillary mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and Biomedical engineering equipment coordination is included. PROCUREMENT INFORMATION: The proposed project will be a competitive, firm-fixed-price contract utilizing the design-bid-build approach (Final Specifications and Drawings will be provided). The anticipated solicitation will be issued either as a Request For Proposal (RFP) in accordance with FAR Part 15, considering Technical and Price Factors or as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with FAR Part 14, considering Price only.
