2025 Sardis CDBG (PE25110)

Description

Sealed bids for construction of 2025 Sardis CDBG will be received until September 17th, 2026, 2:00 PM at the City of Sardis Public Annex at 1209 Ellison Bridge Road, Sardis, GA 30456 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. Bids may also be mailed to 713 Charles Perry Avenue, Sardis, GA 30456. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The work shall consist of furnishing all products and equipment and performing all labor necessary to perform the following: Water improvements including installation of approximately 5,800 LF of 6¿ C900 PVC water main. The project will also consist of new valves, fire hydrants, water laterals, pavement replacement, sediment control, and grassing. Time allotted for completion of work is one hundred twenty (120) calendar days. Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are on file at Parker Engineering, LLC. Copies may be obtained from Parker Engineering, LLC., 36 Courtland Street, Suite B, Statesboro, Georgia 30458, Phone: (912) 764-7722, Email: lindsey@parker-engineering.com, upon payment of $150.00 for each full-size set (non-refundable). The Scope of Work as described herein is defined as ¿utility contracting¿ in accordance with O.C.G.A 43-14-2(17) so the Contractor performing the work must provide proof of a valid license by the State of GA. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashier¿s check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid. Funding is to be provided by the CDBG Program, which is administered by DCA. This project is a Section 3 covered contract. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. This project is to adhere to the Build America Buy America Act. Contractor shall comply with E-Verify regulations. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities.
