Government contracts for plumbers in Oregon

Plumbers contracts in Oregon typically cover backflow-preventer testing, water-main repair, fixture replacement at federal buildings, sewer-line work at correctional facilities, and on-call plumbing IDIQs. Federal posts in this category fall under NAICS 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors), and the bulk of the work flows to the Army Corps of Engineers, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and GSA. Small-business set-asides are common because most jobs sit well below the simplified acquisition threshold.

Oregon currently has 4 open plumbers contracts in our database, with 3 added in the last 30 days. Volume in smaller markets is lumpy: a single base or facility can drive a quarter of annual postings. The most active buyers are Oregon Health Authority (1 open posts) and City of Wilsonville (1), with the rest spread across other federal civilian agencies, DoD components, and state and local departments active in Oregon.

Beyond federal opportunities, much of the plumbers work in Oregon is posted through OregonBuys, with recurring buyers including the Oregon Department of Transportation, the Oregon University System, and Multnomah County / TriMet. Oregon's COBID certifications (MBE/WBE/SDV/ESB) are the gateway to set-aside and subcontracting goals on most state work. ContractRadar pulls federal postings from SAM.gov alongside state and local feeds so a plumbing contractor doesn't have to monitor each portal manually.
