The USGS Eastern Ecological Science Center has a requirement for the dredging of Pond 3 and one chlorine contact tank (concrete basin). The specific dredging includes, but not limited to the following: - Dredge entire pond to remove settlements, remove settlements from chlorine tank (leaf debris mostly). - Work will take place in the following county in West Virginia: Jefferson - Period of Performance is 60 days after notice to proceed is issued. - Amendment 0001 was implemented to update the wage determination number in H.6 GS1440 Wage Determination Applicable (JUL 2001) from Wage Determination number 2015-4281 dated 05/14/2026 Attachment 1 to: Wage Determination number WV20260037 dated 05/18/2026 Attachment 1. Extend the closing date from September 4, 2026, at 10:00 am mountain time to September 8, 2026, at 10:00 am mountain time. - Amendment 0002 is to provide question and answer document. Please refer to B09 Attachment 9 Question and Answer document. - Request for Quotes (RFQ) 140G0126Q0241 will close September 04, 2026, at 10:00 am mountain time. - A site visit will be held on August 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (EST) CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. For site visit information please refer to FAR Clauses 52.236-27 Alt 1. If you are planning to attend, please email Adam Kotulka at akotulka@usgs.gov to provide you're the names who are going, and emails along with phone numbers no later than 24 hours before the site visit starts. - The NAICS Code is 237990. The size standard is $37.0 million. This acquisition will be 100% Small Business Set Aside. - The anticipated award date of the contract is September 11, 2026. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
