The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting sealed responses from qualified vendors to provide Transfer Pump Station Check Valve Rehabilitation and Replacement, as specified in this Invitation to Bid to include the rehabilitation, or Owner-authorized replacement, of four (4) existing 18-inch slanting disc check valves on the discharge piping of the Clear Well Transfer Pumps at the Water Treatment Plant, including isolation and removal from the piping system, disassembly and internal inspection, component rehabilitation or replacement, reassembly, reinstallation, field testing, and return to service, in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of work, drawings and technical specifications of the above mentioned Invitation to Bid Construction The City will hold two (2) mandatory pre-bid site visits at the Water Treatment Plant, 290 Goolsby Boulevard, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442: Site Visit No. 1: September 14, 2026 at 9:30 A.M ET Site Visit No. 2: September 18, 2026 at 9:30 A.M ET Attendance at one (1) of the two (2) scheduled site visits is mandatory. Bidders who do not attend at least one (1) site visit and sign the attendance sheet may be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award. Site visits shall be coordinated through the Procurement and Contract Administration Division in conjunction with plant staff. Bidders shall not contact plant staff directly. Bidders shall provide the names of attending personnel in advance to the Procurement contact identified in this solicitation, present government-issued photo identification upon arrival, remain escorted by plant staff at all times, and comply with all facility safety and personal protective equipment requirements. The City will log attendance at all site visits. Information conveyed verbally during a site visit is not binding on the City.
