Description

Pursuant to Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), and applicable Federal qualifications-based selection requirements, including the Brooks Act, 40 U.S.C. §§ 1101-1104, the Martin County Board of County Commissioners hereby solicits Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified professional firms to provide engineering and design services for improvements to culverts within the Bessey Creek sub-watershed in the Martin Downs Property Owners Association (POA) area of Palm City. The services include design and permitting of culvert improvements and supporting infrastructure to increase stormwater capacity, reduce flood risk, and increase flood protection within the Bessey Creek sub-watershed. This contract is funded in whole or in part by a State of Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) grant. Federal funding through the FDEM Hazard Mitigation Grant Program is anticipated for a portion of the project. Additional Federal or State funding may be obtained. The contract shall comply with all applicable funding requirements.
