This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) only This notice is issued solely for market research, preliminary planning, and information-gathering purposes in accordance with RFO Part 10 and DFARS Part 210. This announcement does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB) No solicitation package is currently available, and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract based on this notice. The Government will not pay or reimburse any costs, direct or indirect, incurred by respondents in preparing or submitting responses to this notice. Submittals will not be returned, and respondents will not be notified of the results of the Government's review. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District (NWK), is conducting market research to identify qualified, capable, and interested parties�capable of delivering a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) pipe crawling inspection system. The system will be utilized for the internal inspection of non-sanitary municipal and civil infrastructure. Access will typically be gained via standard infrastructure access points, including: Standard access manholes Drainage flap gates Mechanical access points The inspection system must be a modular, steerable, wheel-driven unit capable of adjusting to varying pipe sizes, lengths, and construction materials.
