Sources Sought Notice Number: H9224126S61892 The Technology Application Program Office (TAPO) is conducting market research to identify potential vendors capable of responding to the requirements described below. This is a Sources Sought Notice issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor does it oblige the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this request, so quotes will not be considered. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. Response is strictly voluntary; it is not mandatory to submit a response to this notice to participate in any formal RFP process that may take place in the future. However, it should be noted that information gathered through this notice may significantly influence the Government�s acquisition strategy. All interested parties will be required to respond separately to any solicitations posted as a result of this sources sought notice. Requirements: The Government seeks to identify potential sources with aircraft Large Area Display System (LADS) for military rotary wing Air Vehicle Systems (AVS) that are commercial products. These airborne avionics grade display system will serve as the primary human machine interface for pilotage and situational awareness tasks by the aircrew. Safety-critical video processing and control are expected to reside externally to the LADS. The Government is interested in a display subsystem capable of deterministic, bounded-latency presentation of video and symbology as an endpoint within an existing Cockpit Display System architecture. The system must be designed with a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) to ensure interoperability, reusability, and future growth.
