Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) Control Head Unit (CHU) The Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), on behalf of the Capability Program Executive � Aviation (CPE AVN) and the Project Manager, Aviation Mission Systems and Architecture (PM AMSA), is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of delivering a high Technology Readiness Level (TRL) and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) Control Head Unit (CHU). This critical hardware effort supports the immediate fielding of the Air to Ground Communications (A2GC) system�the Army�s next-generation, federated replacement for the legacy SINCGARS system. To bypass traditional, multi-year aircraft integration timelines and meet emerging Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) requirements, PM AMSA is seeking an intelligent, airworthy, modular open-systems-compliant controller capable of hosting multiple software applications, enabling rapid, iterative evolutionary capability updates directly to the warfighter.
