This Request for Quotes (RFQ or Sourcing Event) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will meet the State Entity¿s needs as described in this Sourcing Event. This RFQ process will be conducted to gather and evaluate responses from supplier for potential award. All qualified suppliers are invited to participate by submitting responses, as further defined below. After evaluating all suppliers¿ responses received prior to the closing date of this Sourcing Event and resolution of any contract exceptions, the preliminary results of the RFQ process will be publicly announced, including the names of all participating suppliers and the evaluation results. Subject to the protest process, final contract award(s) will be publicly announced thereafter. Albany State University, a Unit of the University System of Georgia, is soliciting bids for Fitness and Exercise equipment as listed in this Request for Quote.  All equipment must be in new, unused condition and priced to include delivery and installation, FOB Albany, GA 31705 and 31707.  If equipment is not priced to include delivery and installation, a specific delivery and installation charge must be listed otherwise it will be assumed that your bid is inclusive of delivery and installation and Albany State University will pay no additional charges for these items if they are not included in the upfront price. Please note that equipment will be placed on both campuses and delivery of equipment will be coordinated after award.  This is a SOLE BRAND OR APPROVED EQUAL BID and Albany State University retains the right to decide if a piece of quoted equipment is an approved equal to the requested brands on the cost sheet. Albany State reserves the right to make a single award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, or to issue multiple awards based on categories (Cardio, Strength, etc.).
