Description
The intent of this proposal is to secure a professional services contract for the purpose of configuring, repairing, updating and upgrading infrastructure and the firmware and software of the City of Irving’s programmable logic controllers (PLCs), managed network switches, Multilin power monitoring and Motor protection devices and radio network. The PLC software uses the Schneider platform, EcoStruxure. Three pressure points will be updated and replaced over the course of three years. The City’s operator interface terminal (OIT) and universal power supply (UPS) equipment will be hardened in accordance with the best cybersecurity practices. The City’s 900 MHz radio equipment will also need maintenance as needed. Potential radio network expansion exists. A public bid opening will be held via Microsoft TEAMS.
