<p>These specifications detail the requirements for the City of San Diego’s (“City”) Stormwater</p><p>Department for the delivery of as-needed ready-mixed Portland cement concrete as</p><p>specified in the most current editions of the Standard Specifications for the Public Works</p><p>Construction 2024 Edition (Greenbook), which identifies classes of concrete; and, the City</p><p>of San Diego Standard Drawings 2021 edition and are intended to include the applicable</p><p>provisions of Section 90 the 2025 Standard Specifications of the Department of</p><p>Transportation, State of California. For these specifications, mixed and delivered concrete</p><p>is defined as aggregate sand, cement, and water, thoroughly mixed and delivered to the job</p><p>in the Contractor’s trucks, in the proper proportions for the class of concrete ordered.</p><p>Delivery may be to any point within City limits. The delivery of Ready-mix concrete is covered under the Prevailing Wages of the Public Contract Code.
