The City of Charlottesville’s Capital Development Division is requesting proposals from qualified architectural/engineering firms or individuals to provide comprehensive design, planning, and construction administration services for the renovation of the JMRL (Jefferson Madison Regional Library) Central Library facility located at 201 E Market St, Charlottesville, VA 22902. The primary goal is to modernize the facility's aging infrastructure, optimize interior spaces for modern library operations, provide flexibility for future operation, and achieve high-level environmental sustainability while strictly respecting the building’s historic fabric.
