PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Subject: Expand Cardiology Service (Construction Services) Location: Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL Proposed Solicitation Number: 36C24826R0124 Closing Response Date: 08/29/2026 POC: Calixte Saintil, email: calixte.saintil@va.gov. This requirement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). General Description: The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8, North Florida / South Georgia Veterans System, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) has a requirement to Expand Cardiology Service at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. The construction scope includes, but is not limited to, demolition, site preparation, architectural finishes, mechanical and electrical work. The contractor shall complete the work required within five hundred forty-eight (548) calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP) in accordance with the construction drawings and specifications prepared by an independent Architect-Engineer firm. The solicitation will be issued on or about 08/29/2026. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.gov website at www.sam.gov. All interested firms must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.GOV). Important Notice: Prior to submitting a proposal under SDVOSB set-aside solicitation, offerors must be listed in the SBA Veteran Certification site https://search.certifications.sba.gov/ as an active SBA SDVOSB certified.

    This project entails the renovation and expansion of the cardiology services; offices, team spaces, conference rooms and other support areas as deemed necessary by the Cardiology service on the third floor of Malcom Randall VA Hospital. The desired offices and support areas will support the approximate 6,000 sqft expansion of the Cardiology service administrative space on the third floor. Period of Performance: 540 calendar days. Contract Period: Base POP Begin: 12-18-2026 POP End: 06-12-2028 An organized site visit is scheduled for October 07, 2026 at 10:00 am EST. A subsequent amendment will be issued if the date, time, and/or location changes. Participants are to meet at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, Gainesville, FL 32608 in front of the Engineering Office (Basement-Building1). Solicitation Due 10-28-2026
