****** THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY ****** This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available. This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24226B0059, Project Number 632-23-112, for the Replace Roofs and Repair Facades Buildings 6 and 7 at the Northport VA Medical Center located on 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. This project will be 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in SBA's Small Business Search (https://search.certifications.sba.gov/) and https://www.sam.gov. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size standard: $45 million. IAW VAAR 852.219-10, the VIP-listed SDVOSB. Prospective Contractor will not pay more than 85% of the amount paid by the government to the prime for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to firms that are not VIP-listed SDVOSBs. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. SCOPE OF WORK: The Scope of Work shall generally consist of, but not limited to the following: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 2, Northport VA Medical Center, is seeking highly qualified construction firms to perform full roof replacement and repair of historical brick and stone facades at Building 6 and Building 7. Building 6 is fully occupied, and work will be phased in four stages to limit impact to one side of the building at a time.
