Description
<p>The City of Bakersfield desires to enter one contract with local contractor to perform air board compliance monitoring and reporting as required by permits issued by the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (District). In general, the work consists of performing monthly emission testing for cogeneration engines, monthly gas analysis and annual source testing for engines, boilers, and flares for the Wastewater Division. The equipment to be tested and monitored is located at both Wastewater Treatment Plant 2 and Plant 3 (WWTP 2 and WWTP 3). </p><p>The contract will have an initial one-year term and be renewable annually for an additional four consecutive one-year periods, for a total term of five years, at the City’s option and upon mutually agreeable terms.</p> <p>All interested firms must log in and download full RFP specifications located under the 'Documents' tab.</p>
