Description

The project’s scope should include both environmental clearance and design services, however the City will only be awarding a contract for environmental clearance at this time. The list of suggested improvements in the City of Sacramento’s Vision Zero Top 5 Corridor Study should not be considered exhaustive, and it will be the responsibility 6 of the selected consultant to propose the improvements they believe are necessary to address concerns along El Camino Avenue. The project has federal funding sources, therefore both California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) clearance will be required. The future design phase will include 60, 90, and 100-percent plans and specifications. Prospective consultants are asked to develop a scope of services in the RFP for the entire project.
