<p>This Request for Proposal (RFP) provides for the engagement of a professional engineering</p><p>consultant services to obtain all necessary permits for the construction, perform all requisite tests,</p><p>samplings &amp; surveys, prepare contract documents, grant application support, and construction</p><p>support to enable the City to go out to bid for the bridge control system project.</p><p>The scope of the Bridge Control Work includes:</p><p> Inspection, Assessment, and Recommend Rehabilitation/Upgrade Improvement Report</p><p> Grant application support</p><p> Bridge Control System refurbishment</p><p> Bridge operating mechanism</p><p> Remote operation of the bridge</p><p> Bridge balancing machinery and ropes</p><p> Caltrans Structure Inspection Recommended Repairs</p><p> Staging Drawings for allowable work window</p><p> Permits for the project</p><p> Construction support</p><p> Closeout of the project</p><p></p> <p></p>
