Description
The Friends (a 501C3) seeks proposals from qualified electrical engineering firms to provide professional electrical engineering and construction document services for the electrical work outlined in a planning study completed in April 2025. The selected consultant will advance those concepts into a complete, coordinated, permit-ready and bid-ready electrical design package that provides sufficient information for qualified electrical contractors to accurately bid and construct the work. The electrical design shall address modernization of the building's electrical infrastructure, new LED lighting and lighting controls, overhead fans, general power, life-safety systems, and replacement or modification of wiring and equipment necessary to comply with applicable codes. The design shall also incorporate practical provisions for a potential future expansion of the theater.
