Description
<p>The scope of this service contract encompasses furnishing dumpsters for various Metropark sites and facilities located throughout Lucas County. Firms that are interested must be capable of providing reliable professional services for the various needs of Metroparks Toledo. The successful bidder will dispose of collected waste products at a facility that is approved and permitted by Ohio and/or the receiving state. The successful bidder further confirms that they will be responsible for tools, equipment, labor, and manpower to achieve this. The contract term for the successful bidder shall be three (3) years, fixed pricing, with an option to extend one (1) year by one (1) year, capping at 5 years, under the same terms and conditions. Use of these forms is mandatory. Bids must be valid for 90 days from the date of opening; all quoted prices must be valid through February 28, 2030.</p> <p>Metroparks Toledo reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in any bid, and to accept any bid, which is deemed to be the most favorable to the district. Metroparks Toledo reserves the right to reject the bid of any Bidder who previously failed to perform adequately for Metroparks Toledo or any other governmental agency. Metroparks Toledo may consider such factors as year one and two bid price, or year three bid price(s), work guarantee, experience and responsibility of bidder, methods of performing the work and similar factors in determining which bid it deems to be in its best interest and best meeting the requirements of the park district.</p>
