Description
The Northumberland County Board of Supervisors requests proposals from qualified firms to provide professional timber consultation, sale administration, and management services for County-owned properties in Northumberland County, Virginia. The selected firm will advise the Board of Supervisors and designated County staff on all aspects of timber management, including timber inventories and cruises, valuation, silvicultural practices, undergrowth and invasive-species control, harvesting strategy, sale preparation and administration, reforestation, environmental protection, and long-term asset management. The Board intends to select the offeror whose proposal best satisfies the Countyâs needs; award is not required to be made to the offeror proposing the lowest cost.
