This announcement does not constitute a Solicitation or a Request for Proposal (RFP), and no solicitation is currently available. Participation in this RFI is strictly voluntary. Small Business Size Standard: $45 Million The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Alaska District, has requirements for two separate Military Construction (MILCON) projects at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska: EIE480 � Construct Coal Thaw Shed Extension: Extend the existing coal thaw shed at the Coal Handling and Processing Plant (CHPP) by approximately 8,439 square feet to provide heated storage and thawing capacity for six additional coal cars, supporting 24 hours of coal storage. The project includes north and south shed extensions; reinforced concrete slabs; thermal and moisture protection; insulated overhead doors; fire suppression; plumbing; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; electrical work; and interior and exterior lighting.
