Description
The City of Pomona is seeking qualified bidders for Hazardous Waste Removal and Disposal Services. The City is looking to award a five (5) year contract. Required qualifications and Experience: • In accordance with California Public Contracting Code § 3300, the City requires the Contractor to possess a valid HAZ- Hazardous Substance Removal certification at time the bids are opened and to continue to hold during the term of the contract all licenses and certifications required to perform the work specified herein. Contractor shall comply with all licensing and permit regulations under Resource Conservations and Recovery Act (RCRA), outlined in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 263. • Prior to starting work, Contractor shall identify the final location of all waste disposal and treatment facilities to be used under this contract. • Contractor shall guarantee pick up within 48 hours’ notice by City designated representative.
