However, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against NRL shall arise as a result of a response to this SSN/RFI or NRL�s use of such information either as part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications or work statements for any subsequent requirement. PURPOSE AND ACQUISITION BACKGROUND The purpose of this notice is to identify potential industry sources capable of delivering a high-precision, multi-channel Advanced Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Simulator suite. This requirement will support critical Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) research, development, and testing spanning dual-frequency GPS baselines, encrypted military signals (SAASM and AES M-Code), full-spectrum multi-constellations, Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Alternative Navigation (ALTNAV), lunar S-band PNT, contested/threat environments, and multi-element Controlled Reception Pattern Antenna (CRPA) wavefront testing. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS The required capability consists of a minimum of two (2) discrete simulation units meeting the essential physical, electrical, and functional characteristics detailed below. Essential Physical and Electrical Characteristics (Applicable to Both Units) Essential Physical Characteristics Mounts in standard width 19-inch rack mount and includes mounting brackets.
