The U.S. Department of Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for the potential need for the repair and maintenance of two natural-gas fired incinerators. The repairs and maintenance include the following but not limited to: 1. One onsite technician visit for initial incinerator assessment and repairs 2. Factory certified replacement parts during service visits 3. Priority access to technical support 4. Additional scheduled maintenance visits as required to restore both units to compliant performance standards for safe processing of laboratory biohazardous materials Contractor must begin work within one or two days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code assigned to this source sought is 811310 - Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance.
