In general, the major work items include:</p><p></p><p>The demolition and disposal of the existing bridge structure and supports, including existing abutments,</p><p>foundations, and footings, and the installation of two new concrete abutment structures, footings, and</p><p>wingwalls, the placement and installation of a pre-fabricated pedestrian bridge. Additional improvements to the landing and pathway areas including asphalt pavement replacement, concrete curb replacement, bollards, and handrails.
