Description

The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors. Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Bids (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile bids will not be considered. Request for bids may be hand delivered at the City Secretary Office, 1110 Houston St., 3rd. floor, Laredo, Texas 78040 until 5:00 P.M. on November 12, 2026 and all bids received will be opened and publicly acknowledged at 3:00 P.M. on November 13, 2026. Hand delivered bids are to be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: IFB 2027-007 Pest Control Services - Municipal Housing.
