Description

The City of Laredo has established a local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175. All informal and formal Requests for bids for contracts will be evaluated with a 5% preference for local vendors. Bidders are strongly encouraged to submit their proposals electronically through use of Cit-E-Bid or in person - hand delivery. Mailed Proposals (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS), telegraphic, emails or facsimile bids will not be considered. Requests for proposals may be hand delivered at the City Secretary Office, 1110 Houston St., 3rd Floor, Laredo, Texas 78040 until 5:00 PM on November 2, 2026 and all proposals received will be acknowledged at 10:00 AM on November 3, 2026. Hand delivered request for proposals are to be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: RFP 2027-002 Used Tire Management - Solid Waste.
