Government contracts for security services in Arizona

Security services contracts in Arizona typically cover armed and unarmed guard services at federal courthouses, X-ray and magnetometer screening, perimeter patrols at DOE sites, and access-control staffing at military installations. Federal posts in this category fall under NAICS 561612 (Security Guards and Patrol Services), and the bulk of the work flows to the U.S. Marshals Service, GSA Federal Protective Service, DoD, and the Department of Energy. Many guard contracts are SDVOSB set-asides and require a state-issued private-security license in the place of performance.

Arizona currently has 3 open security services contracts in our database, with 2 added in the last 30 days. Volume in smaller markets is lumpy: a single base or facility can drive a quarter of annual postings. The most active buyers are Police Department (2 open posts) and VETERANS AFFAIRS, DEPARTMENT OF (1), with the rest spread across other federal civilian agencies, DoD components, and state and local departments active in Arizona.

Beyond federal opportunities, much of the security services work in Arizona is posted through ProcureAZ, with recurring buyers including the Arizona Department of Transportation, Arizona State University, and the Arizona Department of Administration. ProcureAZ requires a vendor profile with active commodity codes — without them, you won't see relevant postings. ContractRadar pulls federal postings from SAM.gov alongside state and local feeds so a security-services firm doesn't have to monitor each portal manually.
