ContractRadar Adds 4 Local Buyers, Including Halifax, MA and Flour Bluff ISD

By ContractRadar

We have added four more local buyers: Center School District 58 in Kansas City, MO, Flour Bluff ISD in Corpus Christi, TX, the Town of Halifax, MA and the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in Pennsylvania.

What’s new

Halifax is a town in Plymouth County, MA. Center School District 58 and Flour Bluff ISD are school districts, and the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center serves the member school districts of Lancaster County, PA. At the time of writing (October 27, 2026), each of the four had one open solicitation, so four in all.

The work on offer

Examples that were open at the time of writing:

  • Construction: the Town of Halifax is taking bids on a Senior Center construction project at 267 Monponsett St (ITB-2026-0001). Filed sub-bids for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, roofing and other trades are due November 16, 2026, and general contractor bids are due November 23, 2026. It is the one to look at if you are a general contractor or work in any of the building trades.
  • Network and low-voltage: Flour Bluff ISD is seeking proposals for self-provisioning WAN circuits and WAN service over a third-party network, covering 7 circuits (RFP #2025-012, due January 12, 2027). It suits network and low-voltage contractors.
  • Energy services: Center School District 58 has an Energy Services Company (ESCO) request for qualifications (2026-002, due November 13, 2026), aimed at energy-services firms.
  • A farmland lease: the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center is leasing about 47 acres of farmland on its Brownstown campus for the 2027 to 2032 crop years (BID-2026-0001, due December 15, 2026). This one is a land lease, not trade work, so it is for farmers rather than contractors.

How to register and bid

Each portal lets you browse open solicitations, but to download full documents, receive addenda, ask questions or submit a response you generally need to register as a vendor with that buyer’s portal. Towns and school districts often have their own requirements, such as insurance certificates or bid bonds, so read the solicitation’s instructions before you price the job.

How ContractRadar monitors these portals

ContractRadar syncs all four of these sources daily and scores new solicitations against your saved searches. Matches appear in your opportunities dashboard and your daily email alert, alongside the federal, state, and other local sources we track. See the full coverage map for every monitored source.
