Description
Glenmont Job Corps Center is seeking qualified contractors for the replacement of three existing oil-fired hot water boilers (Boilers #2, #3, and #4) located in Building 7 – Gymnasium and Recreation Building, Glenmont, NY. The project includes removal and replacement of the existing boilers, associated mechanical piping, electrical work, controls, insulation, asbestos abatement, testing, startup, commissioning, training, warranties, and related work required to provide a complete and operational boiler system. The Center will remain operational during construction, and work must be sequenced to maintain required boiler availability. Contractors must be appropriately licensed to perform the required work in New York State and comply with all applicable safety, environmental, asbestos-abatement, building, mechanical, electrical, and regulatory requirements. A pre-proposal site walkthrough is scheduled for August 26, 2026. Vendor questions are due August 28, 2026. Proposals are due September 11, 2026. The anticipated period of performance is 210 calendar days following written Notice to Proceed (NTP).
