FAR 6.302-1 � Only One Responsible Source Solicitation Number 75N98026Q01219 Title Doric Lenses FluoPulse Fiber Photometry / Fluorescence Lifetime Photometry System and Accessories Description of Requirement The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), SensMET, requires an integrated fiber photometry and fluorescence lifetime photometry system to support ongoing and planned intramural research experiments. The requirement will support neuroscience research experiments that require time-resolved, two-color photometry recordings, optogenetic stimulation capability, calibrated optical power measurement, synchronized behavioral video acquisition, and compatible data analysis software. The National Institutes of Health, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), intends to award a contract to Government Scientific Source, Inc. on a sole-source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for the acquisition of a Doric Lenses FluoPulse Fiber Photometry / Fluorescence Lifetime Photometry System. Doric Lenses FluoPulse Fiber Photometry / Fluorescence Lifetime Photometry System and Accessories Pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to solicit and award a Purchase Order on a sole-source basis because the Government's minimum technical requirements will be satisfied by Government Scientific Source, Inc. Accordingly, the Government intends to award a sole-source contract to Government Scientific Source, Inc. pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The requiring activity needs an integrated fluorescence lifetime photometry/fiber photometry platform for intramural neuroscience research experiments requiring two-color photometry recording, optogenetic stimulation capability, calibrated optical power measurement, synchronized behavior video acquisition, and compatible data analysis software.
