Description
The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Sacramento District (SPK), anticipates solicitation of a requirement for design-build (DB) and design-bid-build (DBB) � Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Construction Services in support of SPK�s Military Boundary and Area of Responsibility. Specific needs will be determined based upon project requirements as described in each task order. Selected firms will work on a variety of projects that may include but not necessarily limited to new construction (including new work, additions, alterations, maintenance, and repairs) of commercial and institutional buildings and related structures. Anticipated work may include the following: new construction, additions, alterations, renovations, repairs, and maintenance of facilities and supporting infrastructure. The Government anticipates establishing a MATOC with a total shared capacity of $465,000,000 with an 8-year ordering period (five-year base with one three-year option period). The Government intends to award up to seven (7) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. However, The Government reserves the right to award more or fewer than 7 IDIQ contracts if it is determined to be in the best interest of the government. The MATOC will primarily support Military, IIS, DVA, and Civil Works projects for Sacramento District (SPK). The Government currently estimates the magnitude of construction for the task orders to be between $2,500.00 and $20,000,000.00. Contractors will be required to maintain sufficient bonding to cover the value of all awarded task orders. The Government intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) that will result in award of firm-fixed price contracts.
