Description
The purpose of this IFB is to solicit Bids from qualified Bidders to complete construction of beach nourishment of approximately five (5) miles of beach and dune in South Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Johns County, Florida. Material will be hydraulically dredged from an offshore borrow site, borrow area N-1 Modified, and transported and placed on the beach between Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Range Monuments R-76 and R-103.5 to the permitted lines and grades shown on the drawings provided in Exhibit A. The Work also consists of tilling and environmental monitoring. The Work is located on the East Coast of Florida in St. Johns County, Florida, ranging approximately four (4) to nine (9) miles North of St. Augustine Inlet. This project is funded through the FEMA Public Assistance Program, Florida Department of Environmental Protection Grant No. 25SJL, and Florida Department of Environmental Protection Amendment No. 1 to Grant No. 23SJ4.
